Residencies are hands-on work with children in schools and other group situations. Workshops and residencies can be combined to involve children, parents, and teachers. This situation is ideal, because the children's learning is reinforced and mirrored by the adults who know and love them. Grants! Both Brain Gym® and SOUND INTELLIGENCE™ can be applied to many granting categories. For example, the principal of one elementary school, tiring of "Just Say No" programs, saw that the drug and alcohol category of a federal grant application included bullying. The school received funding to introduce Brain Gym® and SOUND INTELLIGENCE™ for anger management, as well as for special needs students and curriculum enhancement. Help!
